LUNCH MEATING
The billboard I drive by
makes me sick to the indefinable pit-
something of human gluts and spits
and basic verbal quips
and meatballs that are bigger than me!
If we stood next to each other, but there's
no scale to account for anything
in advertising. I left my shadow
there to measure it out
against my 5'4" headed to dead.
A wheatpaste silhouette gone the the next day
like a splinter sucked into your eyeball.
